UTStudio came up with a brand new look and structure in 2006 with the 2.20R version.  It is now even more efficient and easier to use.  This analysis software supports all the X-32 features and have some more.  It can be used to go over a recorded scan, take measures and create reports and also to remotely control the X-32 or R-32 via your computer with the Pro version.

What is UTStudio ?

UTStudio is a user-friendly acquisition and analysis software that runs on a workstation.  Three different versions are offered: Viewer, Lite and Pro.  The Viewer version allows a limited access to the features, but would be useful for your clients and colleagues to have a quick look at a recorded scan since it is totally free.  The Lite version can completely perform the analysis of a scan and a license comes free with the purchase of an X-32.  The main additional feature of the Pro version is the possibility to remotely control our phased-array instruments.

UTStudio can handle up to 8 views per screen and up to 16 tabs, with up to 10 files opened simultaneously !  You can even have a real-time feed next to an archive file.

Handling Files on Remote Unit

With UTStudio, you can make easy drag’n drop file transfers with your X-32 or R-32, exactly like a FTP tool.

Semi-Automated Inspection

The X-32 can be remotely controlled by UTStudio.  It’s pretty useful when performing semi-automated scans or automated scans with an MP-2 unit.  It’s also nice  when you want a PC platform with a large screen.
